Tire Pressure Warning Reset Switch Circuit

DESCRIPTION
Initialization can be started by pressing the tire pressure warning reset switch and holding it for 3 seconds or more.
If the ECU receives the signal from the switch, the tire pressure warning light blinks 3 times (1 second on, 1 second off).

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE:
-
When replacing the tire pressure warning ECU, read the transmitter IDs stored in the old ECU using the Techstream and write them down before removal.
-
It is necessary to perform initialization
after registration
of the transmitter IDs into the tire pressure warning ECU, after the ECU and/or tire pressure warning valve and transmitter has been replaced.

CHECK TIRE PRESSURE WARNING RESET SWITCH FUNCTION
|
(a) Perform the tire pressure warning reset switch test in Test Mode Procedure
.

INSPECT TIRE PRESSURE WARNING RESET SWITCH

(a) Remove the tire pressure warning reset switch
.

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RESET SWITCH - ECU AND BODY GROUND)

(a) Disconnect the H52 reset switch connector.
(b) Disconnect the H40 ECU connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
